How to play

Jet Strike is an arcade-style top-down shoot 'em-up where you're flying in a jet and fighting using the keyboard. Controls Up Arrow - Fly Forward Down Arrow - Pull Back Left Arrow - Fly Left Right Arrow - Fly Right Z - Launch Missiles X - Fire Machine Guns You're on an endless flight with constant waves of enemies coming at you. The goal is to shoot as many of them down while you still have the power. When you begin, the jet will spawn at the bottom of the screen in the center. Enemies will start appearing from the top of the screen, moving in different patterns, and firing different weapons at you. Your jet has access to two weapons: Missiles and guns. The guns have infinite ammo and will fire in a straight line stream out from the front of the jet. Missiles are finite (with the ammo counter on the right of the screen), but deal the most damage and will zoom in on targets. Your targets can take the form of jets or helicopters. Both have access to the same weapons you do and will fire them when they get close enough. When you get hit, you'll take damage to your health indicated by the heart monitor on the right side of the screen. If it drops to zero, your jet will be destroyed and you'll need to start from the beginning. Destroying targets can earn you power-ups that can refill your health and missiles, and give you a temporary shield.
