How to play

Jelly Battle is a 2D sim and puzzle game where you are looking after a jelly by using only the mouse. To interact with any of the UI and in-game elements, move the cursor over to them and click the Left Mouse Button. Depending on the activity, you may need to hold the button down and drag it around. The goal is to make sure that your jelly stays happy with the energy that you have. Both the jelly's happiness and your energy are shown in the top left corner of the screen. If the jelly's happiness drops too low, you'll be in big trouble. There are several activities that you can do to keep your jelly in the best condition: Feed, Pet, Wash, and Play. Food that you collect while playing can be fed to the jelly to keep it happy and the more of the same food that you give it, the closer you get to unlocking new skins for it. Pet lets you show affection by rubbing your hand over the jelly. Wash helps you keep the jelly clean by rubbing a sponge over it while you clean up any messes by clicking on them. Every activity requires points of energy to perform which will refill over time. Play lets you take the jelly to battles with other jellies. These are split into levels with more being unlocked as you complete them. Battles take place across a hexagonal field with your jelly on one side and enemy jellies on the other. You need to keep splitting your jelly until it controls most of the grid. The number indicates how much it can split, each split reducing the number by half. Jellies can slide over any line of hexagon spaces, collecting food, and stopping whenever they hit an edge or opposing jelly. The level ends when one jelly controls most of the field.
