How to play

Drift Challenge is a 2D top-down driving game about driving a car around the road using the keyboard. Controls Up Arrow - Accelerate Down Arrow - Brake Left Arrow - Turn Left Right Arrow - Turn Right Spacebar - Initiate Drift The game is broken up into levels and the goal of each level is to earn enough drift points and make it to the finish line within a certain amount of time. When you choose a level, the car will spawn at the starting line and a countdown will begin. At zero, you'll get to start driving with acceleration allowing you to build up speed quite quickly. As you drive along the track, you'll eventually get to an area that is a prime location to start drifting. You're free to go off the track, but note that the car becomes much harder to control and it's more likely that you'll run into barriers. Making your way through the levels will yield more difficult roads. Hazards like oil spills will start to appear which can cause your car to spin out or lose speed. If you feel the run is over, you can always restart and try again. You can also choose one of several cars to drive although this is purely cosmetic.
