How to play

Dinogen Online is a 2D top-down online shooter about humans fighting against dinosaurs using the mouse and keyboard. Controls Cursor - Look/Aim Left Mouse Button - Fire/Use W - Move Up S - Move Down A - Turn Left D - Turn Right R - Reload G - Grenade Shift - Sprint F - Use Equipment Spacebar - Melee Weapon Mouse Wheel/Num. Keys - Cycle Weapons/Items E - Interact C and Num. Keys - Open Command Menu/Give Commands The goal will change depending on the game mode, but you're usually expected to take down members of the other team and keep yourself alive. Health will be displayed as a ring around yourself and other units. Your weapons will be shown in the top left corner and the map will be shown in the top right corner. Other game information depending on the mode will be shown on the top or bottom of the screen. If your health hits zero, you'll be eliminated or will need to wait to respawn. You can also find bot allies that you can command to do various things. Before playing, you can browse around the lobby. There are options to create or join custom games as you wish. You can also visit the shop to buy new weapons and gear or go to the customize section to change your unit's loadout and such. Some elements will be locked out to you unless you create an official account and start tracking your progress. You can start playing by choosing a game to join or selecting Quick Play. You'll either be a militia or a dinosaur depending on the game mode. You'll spawn in a safe area and will be let out onto the field. Militia all have similar stats and depend mainly on their weapons and equipment while dinosaurs all have different physical attributes and depend on their specific abilities. Either way, you'll be running around the map trying to complete objectives or eliminate the enemy team. You can also find items lying around that can give you new weapons or restore your health. The match will keep going until time runs out or one team achieves a certain goal. You can put your winnings to use to improve what you can access and purchase.
