How to play
Cycle Sprint is a 2.5D racing game about cycling across a country using the keyboard. Your cyclist will constantly pedal at a pace that is slightly faster than the other cyclists as long as they're able. The track is clear meaning that you need to use the Up Arrow and Down Arrow keys to move to the different lanes. To get extra speed, you can hold down the Spacebar. The goal is to complete the whole race (in 21 separate parts) and earn a combined score that earns you first place.
Before the race starts, you can choose a track across Italy, France, or Spain. You can also customize your cyclist and the bicycle to add your own style. When the race begins, your cyclist will start in last place and start making their way to the front from the left to the right side of the screen. You'll need to switch lanes in order to avoid other cyclists. Your speed and potential to boost are represented by a dwindling blue stamina bar that appears above your cyclist. You can replenish it by collecting water bottles that will be indicated by blinking dotted lines. If you run out of stamina, your cyclist will start to lose speed.
To keep track of your progress in the race, you can see the meter at the top of the screen. Once you cross the finish line, you'll receive a score based on the position you finished. Your final position will be the total amount of points you've gained across the different portions of the race.
