Ant Colony is a 2D top-down strategy game about managing a colony of ants to gather and fight using the mouse. To interact with the UI, move the cursor over to it and click the Left Mouse Button. The goal is to have a bustling and powerful ant colony that can defend itself and launch offensives if need be. The number of ants is tracked in the top right corner along with the map while the resources are towards the top left corner. The colony will remain as long as you're willing to contribute to it. When you begin, you'll have a few ants and some resources already gathered. The UI will give you options to interact with the colony in various ways. If you want to grow your colony, you need to spend resources to create more ants (each having different roles) or attack other insects to have them join your ranks. You can battle wild insects around your colony or go to battle and attack other colonies. During battles and attacks, any ants that are defeated will not be recovered back to the colony. Victories will earn you large chunks of resources and possibly new units.
